Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Azizi was a gifted student and always ahead of his class.
After graduating with honors in 1961, he entered the competitive Medical School at University of Tehran immediately.
He
completed his medical school education in 1969 and promptly entered
military service as a Physician at the Health Army Organization where he
practiced for two years.
He has been fortunate to work
with professor Mirsepasi and a group of Elite Psychiatrists at Maymanat
Psychiatric hospital as well as gaining two years of experience in
Chaharm Aban Psychiatric Hospital as part of the Residency Program.
Dr.
Azizi has had many years of private practice in both Medicine and
Psychiatry between 1975 and 1985. Moving to the United States proved his
expanding experiences through internship at the Brookdale University
Hospital , Psychiatric Center and following by three years of residency
at the UCLA affiliated program in Camarillo , CA State Hospital.
His
career began to develop further when after graduation he worked as a
Psychiatrist at the Ventura County Mental Health center as a Team Leader
for 5 years.
Currently, Dr. Azizi is running his private Psychiatry Center in Encino and Beverly Hills , California .
His
articles and commentaries have been published in various magazines and
newspapers. He has weekly and monthly Radio and TV programs and talks
about social, emotional, and psychological problems among Iranian
population . These programs has been widely accepted and praised in
both, the professional world and the community.
